Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Framework Development: Architect, expand, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for Android (Mobly, Java, Python).
  • RCS & SMS Testing: Automate functional, integration, and performance test scenarios for RCS features (read receipts, typing indicators, high-res media sharing) and SMS/MMS failovers.
  • Dual-Device / Peer-to-Peer Automation: Design complex end-to-end automation scripts that validate two-way messaging flows, group chats, and network state changes (Wi-Fi to Cellular transitions) across multiple real test devices.
  • Advanced Feature Testing: Create automated test coverage for rich messaging features, including Google Messages web-pairing, smart replies, and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Magic Compose, Gemini integration).
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and leverage cloud device farms (Firebase Test Lab, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack) for parallel execution.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs using Jira, collaborating closely with development teams to pinpoint root causes.
  • Test Strategy & Reporting: Define test plans, evaluate test execution metrics, and deliver clear quality reports to technical leadership.
