About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer (QE/SDET) with strong programming skills in playwright with Java or Python. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions, supporting UI and API automation, and improving quality engineering practices across customer-facing applications. The candidate should have strong coding ability, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly, including learning Playwright if not already hands-on.
Required Skills
- 6-12 years of experience in Quality Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation.
- Experience with Playwright.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Java or Python.
- Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of API testing and automation concepts.
- Experience working with Agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good to Have Skills
- API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools/frameworks.
- Experience testing microservices or distributed applications.
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar SDLC tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or device/browser test platforms.
Domain Experience - Good to Have
Experience testing applications in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:
- CRM applications
- Contact Center platforms
- Customer Service applications
- Customer Support / CSR applications
