Job DescriptionThe
Senior Software Engineer to provide development and operations & maintenance (O&M) support for a production Java application with a Postgres backend and a Tomcat/JBoss application server. The ideal candidate will work in an AWS cloud environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with both government and contractor teams to support all aspects of application development.
- Gather, analyze, and develop enhancement specifications and requirements based on system owner input.
- Be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from development to production support.
- Strong user interface development skills, particularly with JavaScript, are essential.
- Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects in support of IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications- Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
- A solid foundation in Computer Science is required, with either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience
Required Skills- Java (JEE Development)
- Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
- Angular version 14 or above (5+ years' experience in this skill)
- Spring Boot & Spring Data JPA
- Tomcat /JBoss
- PostgreSQL
Desired Skills- Atlassian tools
- Agile methodology experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
