Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Kafka administration and distributed streaming systems
• Strong AWS cloud services experience, particularly with MSK and Kinesis
• Proficiency in Linux administration, automation, and scripting
• Experience in Python for platform reliability engineering
• Interest in learning and implementing new technologies

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Kafka, AWS MSK, Kinesis, and OpenSearch platforms
• Design scalable and secure streaming architectures
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and performance-tune distributed systems
• Implement security controls, automation, and operational best practices
• Support integrations with data lakes and analytics platforms
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity
