Job Summary:
The Software Development Specialist will design, build, test, and maintain scalable and stable off-the-shelf and custom technology solutions, primarily using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, and Oracle, with additional experience in Java/J2EE client and enterprise applications. The role will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, data modeling, coding, implementation, testing, and application enhancements. The position will also support product development, application modernization, migration initiatives, test automation, and deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and stable software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, and Oracle.
• Contribute to the complete implementation lifecycle for new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, application design, data modeling, coding, implementation, and testing activities.
• Contribute to product development initiatives, including significant product redesign and improved version update and deployment strategies.
• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE client and enterprise applications as required.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable function libraries.
• Support application migration and modernization initiatives across .NET technologies.
• Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Troubleshoot application issues and support ongoing enhancements and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing client- and server-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Oracle.
• 2+ years of experience with migration and software development using Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0 through 4.8.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle database development using Oracle 12 or Oracle 19.
• 2+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE client, web, and enterprise applications.
• 2+ years of experience with core Java and J2EE technologies, including JSP, Servlets, JSF, JSTL, and EJB.
• 2+ years of experience developing automation test frameworks and reusable function libraries.
• 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating the deployment, scaling, and management of Docker containers.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and application development best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with health plan implementation within healthcare domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong industry knowledge and ability to understand business needs and address technical concerns.
