Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) Consultant to join our SAP practice and contribute to large scale transformation programs for clients across Quebec.

The ideal candidate has strong functional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, combined with hands on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations or transformations. This individual will work directly with business teams to understand financial processes, define target processes, challenge existing ways of working, and configure SAP following Fit to Standard and Clean Core principles.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and transformation programs.
Lead and facilitate Fit to Standard workshops with Finance teams and key stakeholders.
Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and define target financial processes.
Design and configure SAP FI/CO processes, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Cost Centers and Profit Centers
Management Accounting and Allocations
Budgeting, Cost Control, and Financial Close.
Ensure FI/CO integration with other SAP domains, including MM, SD, PS/EPPM, and third party solutions.
Contribute to the design of financial and organizational structures, including the Chart of Accounts and controlling objects.
Participate in financial data migration and validation activities.
Prepare functional specifications when required and collaborate with technical and integration teams.
Define and execute functional and integration testing and support UAT activities.
Participate in cutover, go live, stabilization, and hypercare activities.
Advise clients on SAP leading practices and promote the use of standard S/4HANA capabilities.
Contribute to knowledge transfer and capability development within client teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Qualifications
Minimum 7-10 years of SAP experience, primarily in FI/CO.
Significant hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Participation in at least one end to end S/4HANA implementation or transformation is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.
Hands on SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
Good understanding of integration between Finance, Procurement, Project Management, and other SAP processes.
Experience with solution design workshops, Fit to Standard, testing, data migration, and go live activities.
Ability to work directly with managers, controllers, financial analysts, and business users.
Ability to translate business requirements into simple, standardized, and sustainable SAP solutions.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
French and English required to work with clients and teams across Quebec, Canada, and internationally.
Assets
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and/or Public Edition.
Experience with SAP Activate and Clean Core principles.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori.
Experience with SAP Project System (PS), EPPM, or project accounting.
Experience in the public sector, infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing, or other complex environments.
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Group Reporting, or other SAP Finance related solutions.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 -$110,000.This role is an existing vacancy.
