Full Job Description
Senior Sales Executive | New York City

We're looking for a strategic Senior Sales Executive to join our New York City Sales organization and help drive the next chapter of growth across our portfolio of dynamic event venues. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this is a senior-level opportunity for a commercially driven, highly connected sales leader with the experience, relationships, and horsepower to deliver meaningful revenue in a competitive market.

The role will focus on cultivating and closing high-value business across corporate and social event clients. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the New York events market, a strong network, and a proven track record of turning relationships into revenue through strategic business development, complex negotiations, and high-value deal execution. A sophisticated understanding of hospitality, sharp commercial instincts, and the ability to turn client needs into compelling event experiences and meaningful revenue are essential.

What You'll Do:
  • Proactive Market Expansion: Actively discover and engage new corporate, social, and referral partners across the New York market. Build a strong local presence for the brand through strategic prospecting, networking, trade shows, industry receptions, and informational sessions.
  • Client & Relationship Ownership: Cultivate and grow relationships with current and prospective clients and referral partners, with a focus on building lasting partnerships rather than one-time bookings. Respond quickly and thoughtfully to client inquiries, lead site inspections, virtual tours, demos, and client appointments, while maintaining a deep knowledge of our products, venues, and capabilities.
  • Expert Funnel Management: Own the end-to-end sales process from initial inquiry through final contract, managing a diverse pipeline across corporate meetings, social gatherings, and everything in between. Generate, negotiate, and close agreements that meet client needs while adhering to internal pricing and revenue guidelines.
  • Strategic & Creative Solutions: Develop thoughtful, creative solutions that bring client visions to life while driving strong commercial outcomes. This includes designing and negotiating high-touch social events such as galas, receptions, and weddings, as well as adapting our offerings for unique programming such as evening events and fashion shows.
  • Operational Agility & Deal Management: Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-property environment, seamlessly balancing priorities across venues while maintaining exceptional client service. Manage multiple high-value opportunities simultaneously, navigate competing deadlines, and coordinate the details required to move business from opportunity to execution.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, our market positioning, and our venue offering. Build relationships with industry counterparts and leverage insights from the market to identify new opportunities and strengthen our competitive position.
  • Revenue Accountability: Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. The success of this role directly contributes to the growth of the New York portfolio.

What We Look For:
  • 5+ years of high-volume corporate & social event sales experience in the New York market.
  • A robust and proven network of industry relationships across the New York events market including third-party planners, production companies, event agencies, and key referral partners, with a demonstrated ability to leverage these connections to drive new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals with a focus on both corporate and social catering.
  • Strategic mindset and strong business acumen to identify, qualify, and close high-value business.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for client-facing work.
  • A deep knowledge of food and beverage compositions, menu planning, and current social event trends.
  • Experience with contract management and an understanding of operational challenges.
  • Computer literate in standard sales and hospitality systems (e.g., Google, Hubspot, CRM's).
  • Growth company DNA: a genuine passion for building, scaling, and adapting to ever-changing environments.
  • Alignment with our core values: genuine, relentless, integrity, and teamwork (GRIT).
