Team Overview
As a member of the Diversified Markets (DM) business unit, the Senior Industry Executive will lead strategic sales efforts to select communications service providers and text message aggregators in the U.S., driving new business growth while partnering across leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions. This role requires a consultative sales professional who can navigate complex organizations, build executive relationships, and consistently advance and close opportunities. Success comes from serving as a trusted advisor, maintaining forecast accuracy, growing a strong pipeline, and strengthening TransUnion's reputation in the market. This role will report directly to Sales Director.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, client meetings, trade shows, and industry events while partnering with marketing and lead generation teams to build pipeline.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans, prioritizing high-potential prospects and target accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through presentation, negotiation, and close, with a focus on delivering customer value and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including market development, subject matter experts, pre-sales engineers, and account managers to advance opportunities and drive results.
  • Gather and share customer, market, and competitive insights while contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance culture.


Required Knowledge and Experiences
  • Demonstrated experience within and/or knowledge of the telecommunications and/or utilities industries would be preferred, ideally including customer onboarding, identity management, credit, fraud, contact center/contact efficiency, and collections use cases.
  • Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing
  • Detail oriented; dedicated to quality; customer-focused
  • Bachelor's degree in from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in experience

Pay Scale Information:

The pay range for this position is $94,000.00 - $185,000 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% - 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
