What You'll DoRestaurant Operations- Lead daily restaurant operations while maintaining exceptional food, beverage, and hospitality standards.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and memorable guest experience through attentive, professional service.
- Drive consistency by upholding company standards, procedures, and operational excellence.
- Monitor guest feedback and service performance to continuously improve the dining experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and security.
- Identify facility maintenance needs and proactively address repairs.
- Utilize POS systems and basic computer applications to support daily operations.
- Coach, inspire, and hold the team accountable while leading by example on the floor.
Leadership & Team Development- Mentor and develop managers and hourly team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and, when necessary, corrective action.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
- Recognize and reward strong performance while addressing performance concerns professionally.
- Partner with ownership, vendors, and leadership to support operational goals and business initiatives.
- Implement efficient staffing, scheduling, and operational processes across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable California labor laws, health regulations, and OSHA standards.
Financial & Operational Performance- Assist in achieving sales, labor, and profitability goals through strong operational execution.
- Monitor labor, payroll, waste, breakage, and other key performance metrics.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and proper cash handling procedures.
- Support budget management while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
- Help drive restaurant performance through strong financial awareness and operational discipline.
What We're Looking For- At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager in an upscale or fine dining environment. General Manager experience is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional hospitality instincts and a genuine commitment to creating outstanding guest experiences.
- Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable using POS systems and standard computer applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
