Senior Regional Sales Manager

The Senior Regional Sales Manager (CNS) is responsible for leading the execution of brand strategy within their assigned region to achieve sales objectives. This role requires strong field leadership, effective coaching of sales representatives, and a high level of cross-functional collaboration to ensure aligned and impactful execution. The Senior RSM fosters a positive team culture, maintains strong customer relationships, and ensures operational excellence across all regional activities.

How You'll Spend Your Day

Field Leadership & Coaching
  • Provides ongoing coaching, training, and development to sales representatives to ensure strong execution, territory planning, and customer engagement.
  • Conducts regular field visits to observe performance, deliver feedback, and support representative growth.
  • Ensures timely completion of administrative responsibilities including field coaching reports, expense submissions, and activity tracking.

Business Planning & Performance Management
  • Leads the development and execution of regional business plans aligned with national brand strategy.
  • Reviews performance metrics (reach & frequency, targeting, sales results) and implements corrective actions based on market trends and territory needs.
  • Manages regional budgets in full compliance with company guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Works closely with marketing, sales operations, patient services, reimbursement, and other internal partners to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategy.
  • Represents the regional voice by sharing field insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback with brand teams.

Customer Engagement
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders across the region.
  • Ensures high-quality customer interactions that support disease and product understanding.

Team Culture & Engagement
  • Builds and maintains a positive, resilient, and high-performance team environment.
  • Promotes collaboration, accountability, and enthusiasm to support retention and strong results.


Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; science or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive pharmaceutical sales experience with consistent achievement of sales targets. Experience in biosimilars is a strong asset.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales leadership or senior field role (e.g., Senior Representative, Field Trainer, District Lead); prior biologic or specialty experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix environment involving multiple stakeholders (e.g., clinical educators, infusion centers, patient services, marketing).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $135,440-$169,300 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type. Certain positions may also be eligible for a sales commission structure as part of the overall compensation package.
