About the Role

Rho is obsessive about talent. As ourprimary Recruiter for the US, you'll focus on identifying and hiring high-integrity operators. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building the backbone of our business-one great hire at a time. You'll lead searches with urgency and precision, and you'll bring deep understanding of the tech talent market to every conversation.

We're intentionally open to a range of recruiting backgrounds. You might come from technical recruiting, GTM or G&A hiring, regulated industries, or a mix of domains. What matters most is that you know how to run a disciplined search, close strong candidates, and operate like an owner.

This role reports directly to Rho's Head of People & Talent and is based out ofour NYC office, 5 days a week.

What You'll Do
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting from kickoff to close for priority roles across the business, aligned to your strengths (e.g., Technical, GTM, G&A, Risk/Compliance, Operations).
  • Treat recruiting like half art, half science: Find creative ways to position Rho before the strongest operators in the business; A/B test messaging; take a human-first approach.
  • Obsess over our metrics and beating them, all the time.
  • Partner with the Talent & People org and cross-functional partners globally to advance and absorb Rho's talent brand and strategy.
  • Focus on quality over quantity. We know that a lean team of A+ talent is infinitely better than a large team of B-players.
  • Act as an owner: your job is not to hire people-it's to build a business.
What You Bring
  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, with depth in at least one domain (Technical, GTM, G&A, or regulated functions like finance, risk, compliance).
  • A passion for experimentation and craft: you multiply your leverage with AI, try new tools, and refuse to stop until you get it right.
  • Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous orgs).
  • High ownership and accountability-you take responsibility for getting the job done.
  • Strong knowledge of the talent market-where to find excellent builders, and how to speak their language.
  • Operational excellence-you know how to run a disciplined search and coach hiring managers along the way.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills.
  • A bias for urgency, ownership, and high standards.
  • Confidence working with sensitive roles and high-integrity functions.

Our people are our most valuable asset. Our target compensation range for this role is between $150,000 - $185,000, with variation based on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
