AMA Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Records & Correspondence Management Analyst to support Federal correspondence management, records governance, and content management initiatives.

Position Summary

The Senior Records & Correspondence Management Analyst serves as a subject matter expert responsible for supporting controlled correspondence, records management operations, FOIA and FACA activities, business process improvement efforts, and content governance initiatives. This position partners with Government stakeholders to ensure compliance with Federal records management requirements while improving operational workflows and documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Records and Correspondence Management

  • Support daily correspondence management operations across multiple tracking systems.
  • Analyze records management processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist with records scheduling activities and ensure adherence to NARA requirements.
  • Support documentation associated with controlled correspondence initiatives.

FOIA and FACA Support

  • Assist Government staff in supporting FOIA and FACA processes.
  • Review documentation for completeness and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with program offices to facilitate timely responses and records retrieval activities.

Business Process Improvement

  • Document existing and future-state business processes.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, and process maps.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline correspondence and records management activities.

Content Governance and Documentation

  • Support SharePoint content administration and website updates.
  • Review organizational documentation for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assist in content lifecycle management and governance activities.

Strategic and Analytical Support

  • Conduct research and prepare reports supporting business cases, process improvements, and organizational initiatives.
  • Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support knowledge transfer and training documentation efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of Federal records management and correspondence management experience.
  • Working knowledge of NARA regulations and Federal records schedules.
  • Experience supporting FOIA and FACA activities.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and document management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ICCT, ECMM, CoRe, or comparable correspondence management platforms.
  • Knowledge of records governance frameworks and information lifecycle management.
  • AI-enabled records management or information governance experience.
