Position Overview

The Senior Quality Engineer [Quality Engineer # 2] is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). This role plays a key part in driving quality excellence by administering quality data analytics, internal audit programs, corrective and preventive action processes, lessons learned initiatives, and quality system documentation.

The position collaborates closely with functional departments, and external software solution providers to enhance quality processes and digital quality management capabilities. Through the effective use of quality management tools, data analytics, and process improvement methodologies, the incumbent provides actionable insights, ensures compliance with corporate procedures and industry standards, promotes audit readiness, and supports a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

The role also serves as an advisor to stakeholders by providing guidance on quality management best practices, facilitating organizational learning, identifying opportunities for performance improvement, and supporting the successful deployment and ongoing optimization of quality and audit management systems across corporate offices and project operations.

Key Responsibility

  • Lead the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of quality-related data, including Audits, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and key quality performance indicators. Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports, leveraging tools such as Power BI to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop quality plans, procedures, systems, and ITPs.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting internal quality audits across functional departments, and business processes to assess compliance with corporate procedures, and industry standards. Track audit findings from identification through corrective action implementation and formal closure, ensuring timely resolution and effectiveness verification.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent are considered advantageous.
  • 8-10yearsofprogressiveexperience in Quality Management within EPC organizations serving the Energy Industry, including oil & gas, offshore, petrochemical, power, renewable energy, or related sectors. Demonstrated experience supporting quality management activities throughout different functions within the organization.
  • StrongexpertiseinQualityManagementSystems(QMS), including the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 9001-compliant management systems. Proven experience in establishing quality processes, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and controls to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and corporate requirements.
  • Extensiveauditexperience, including planning, conducting, and managing internal, external, supplier, and project audits. Experienced in identifying nonconformities, facilitating corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), verifying effectiveness of corrective actions, and driving closure of audit findings.
  • Hands-on experience in the design, configuration, testing, implementation, enhancement, and support of Quality Management and Audit Management software solutions. Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective system functionality, support system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), facilitate deployment activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and business outcomes
  • Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingcapabilities, with experience in root cause analysis, quality performance monitoring, KPI development and monitoring, and data-driven decision-making to improve organizational and project performance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, and corporate functions while promoting a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
