Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple areas such as Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Logistics to protect the customer and elevate the performance of Dell's manufacturing processes through the consistent application of continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Leading Global Operations quality efforts to develop and support data analysis and reporting projects.
  • Applying principles, theories, and concepts to solve quality problems that benefit the customer and the business.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define and analyze problems, generate and prioritize solutions, establish clear and effective action plans, ensure their closure, and implement lasting solutions.
  • Developing and driving continuous improvement initiatives and preventive actions.
  • Contributing to the development of the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Serving as the quality representative within the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for new server platforms, ensuring that quality standards, requirements, and best practices are embedded from early design stages through production readiness.

Essential Requirements
  • English proficiency is essential for this role (written and spoken). Must apply with a resume in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or in Data Analytics / Computer Science with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in similar roles, preferably in the Quality area.
  • Knowledge of program/project management.
  • Required to be onsite for support at our ODM partners in Mexico 3-4 days a week

Desirable Requirements
  • Ability or interest in learning Power BI and structured programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industry trends and practices in quality management, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Problem Solving, and Root Cause Analysis / Corrective and Preventive Actions (RCA/CAPA).
