Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to develop and implement programs and processes in Huntsville, AL. This position has the option of working hybrid/remote (on site and at home)

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
  • Design and implement initiatives to ensure high standards for product and service quality.
  • Create and promote programs aimed at promoting a culture of continuous quality enhancement among employees.
  • Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and practices to monitor and assess the quality of products, materials, components, and operations, while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide expertise and support in areas such as software development, system engineering, IT systems, or process optimization to elevate overall quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management to adapt duties and responsibilities based on organizational needs and align with specific employee roles.
  • Act as 3rd party auditor providing status, as needed, on team's compliance to engineering requirements, processes and procedures. Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCB), peer reviews, and test events to ensure compliance to processes.

Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance principles, standards, and methodologies
  • Ability to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and operations, and clearly communicate goals and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies used for monitoring and assessing product and operational quality (e.g., quality management systems, data analysis tools).
  • Capability to manage quality-focused initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and objectives are met.
  • Understanding of quality standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO standards or equivalent).
