Job Description

As a Senior Senior QA Analyst, you will join a team that is actively evolving into an AI-driven environment. You will use your analytical skills to provide test planning and test execution for new features prior to going to market, with the explicit expectation to proactively leverage AI-enabled QA tools to maximize efficiency and enhance workflow effectiveness. You will work with other QA team members, Product, and Engineers on a regular basis, as well as various other teams as needed. You'll be exposed to many of our products and have many opportunities to learn new things. We need an individual who has a passion for quality and innovation. This position is hybrid and requires working from the Phoenix office.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements and user story cards to independently gather test scenarios and build comprehensive test plans.
  • Participate in estimating test effort and defining timelines within sprint cycles.
  • Lead and participate in all aspects of functional testing, including system, integration, regression, and release testing for all assigned products and features.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify candidates for test automation.
  • Create, maintain, and execute clear test case documentation for new and existing features.
  • Document, track, and manage bugs efficiently using Jira.
  • Analyze and reproduce complex problems reported by customers to assist engineering in root-cause analysis
  • Proactively leverage AI tools to maximize efficiency and enhance QA workflow effectiveness


Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or a software testing role, with demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices, including modern test strategies and shift-left quality practices
  • Strong conceptual understanding of QA automation methodologies, including when and how to implement automation within the testing lifecycle to complement manual testing.
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC and a proven track record of applying QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with developers and product owners.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a sharp eye for identifying edge cases and root causes of defects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and shift priorities dynamically in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to software development practices or basic scripting knowledge.
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools for efficiency or prior experience using them in a professional setting.
