Full Job Description
A real estate investment and property management firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support financial reporting and accounting operations for assigned commercial properties. This role works closely with property management and finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and tenant-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements including journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and support capital expenditure tracking.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and lease administration within the accounting system.
  • Prepare CAM and real estate tax budgets and reconciliations.
  • Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Support tenant receivable reconciliations and lease-related accounting.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with interim and year-end audit requests.
  • Conduct tenant audit research and documentation.
  • Manage treasury activities including cash flow tracking and liquidity planning.
  • Review lease agreements and assist with commission calculations and amortization schedules.
  • Support lender reporting and capital funding requests.
  • Assist fund controllers and management with ad hoc financial requests.


Qualifications
