JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join our team in Wyoming, Michigan. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between engineering, manufacturing, customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders to successfully execute complex projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, ora relatedfield.
  • 7+ years of engineering and project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, product development, or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from design through implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and project execution methodologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating technical resources.
  • Proficiencywith project management tools, Microsoft Office applications, andSmartSheet.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance and proactivelyidentifyand mitigate risks.
  • Review engineering designs, specifications, and project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate project milestones.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical and operational challenges throughout project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineers andprovidetechnical guidance to project team members.
