In Details
  • Define project scope, objectives and success criteria during the planning phase to align with business needs, ensuring new ledger interfaces and capabilities meet client expectations, by collaborating with finance stakeholders and product owners.
  • Collect and analyze user requirements and current processes early in the project to identify improvement opportunities and regulatory gaps, through workshops, interviews and documentation reviews.
  • Coordinate with global Finance teams in NewYork, London, Lisbon, Mumbai and Paris throughout execution to ensure consistent delivery, by establishing clear communication channels and shared governance.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality metrics on a weekly basis to guarantee on time delivery, using project-management tools and reporting dashboards, and escalating issues to sponsors when necessary.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and communications for target user groups before go-live to facilitate adoption and smooth transition, by working with subject-matter experts and identified "sparring partners."
  • Establish and maintain project governance structures, including steering-committee meetings and KPI tracking, to provide transparent oversight and enable data-driven decision making, by documenting decisions and actions.
  • Support cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner to resolve issues and adjust plans when critical paths shift, by facilitating problem-solving sessions and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements by integrating new reporting features into finance systems during design and testing phases, in partnership with compliance experts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project methodology by updating templates and best-practice guidelines after each delivery, to enhance efficiency for future initiatives, by capturing lessons learned and sharing them across the Finance Office.
