Position Description:

CGI Montre9al is looking for a Senior Project Manager to take over a portfolio of ERP projects. In this role, you will support one of our clients in the selection and preparation for the deployment of an ERP solution, with a functional scope primarily focused on Finance and Procurement. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall coordination of the engagement, including monitoring the work plan, timelines, decisions, and dependencies
• Maintain a lean governance framework, including decision-making cadence, action tracking, and management of risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
• Coordinate activities among CGI, client stakeholders, and ERP vendors
• Support the organization and progression of the selection process, including RFPs, vendor meetings, demonstrations, evaluations, and decision-making
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and ensure clear communication with decision-makers
• Bring a change management perspective to decisions and implementation readiness efforts, including organizational impacts, operational readiness, communications, stakeholder engagement, and training needs
• Help prepare the transition to a potential phase involving contract negotiation, implementation oversight, and change management activities
• Work closely with the client's internal resources and CGI subject matter experts (SMEs) in Finance, Procurement, and IT

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Significant experience managing ERP projects, ideally involving solution selection, RFP processes, implementation, or transformation initiatives
• Hands-on experience in change management and/or organizational change management within technology transformation environments
• Strong understanding of Finance and Procurement business process challenges and requirements
• Experience coordinating with ERP vendors, systems integrators, and functional/technical teams
• Ability to work independently with executive-level stakeholders
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, executive communication, and complex problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in an environment where governance and deliverables remain lean, pragmatic, and decision-oriented rather than documentation-heavy
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with an ongoing engagement and ensure continuity with minimal disruption
• Experience in joint-venture organizations (environments involving multiple organizations and/or parent companies) is considered an asset
• Knowledge of ERP selection and implementation processes is considered an asset
• Experience in complex Finance and Procurement environments is considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (written, spoken)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70 000$ et 135 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
