Industrial Project Manager, ConstructionWhat this job involves:As an Industrial Project Manager at JLL, you'll take the lead on planning, executing, and delivering industrial, manufacturing, and capital projects that drive operational excellence for our clients. You'll be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle-from initial scope definition through final commissioning-ensuring every initiative is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage contractor and vendor relationships, and serve as the key liaison between engineering, operations, finance, and leadership. What your day-to-day will look like:- Lead end-to-end project execution using standard project management methodologies, defining scope, success criteria, and deliverables for industrial and manufacturing initiatives
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review technical drawings, specifications, and documents, ensuring all designs meet operational and safety requirements
- Coordinate the installation, commissioning, and validation of industrial equipment, overseeing construction activities and layout changes within manufacturing environments
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, finance, safety, and leadership teams, facilitating design reviews and stakeholder alignment meetings
- Manage vendor and OEM relationships, including procurement activities, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring
- Create detailed project budgets and capital requests, tracking costs, forecasts, and variances through ERP systems while managing change orders and invoicing
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including stage-gate deliverables, as-built records, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
- Provide executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, milestones, and financial performance, ensuring transparency and alignment across all stakeholders
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
- 3-10+ years of industrial, manufacturing, construction, or CAPEX project management experience with proven success delivering complex projects
- Demonstrated experience managing equipment installation, facility upgrades, automation systems, or process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of industrial processes, automation technologies, and manufacturing equipment operations
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms for cost tracking and resource management
- Excellent analytical, budgeting, and cost-control capabilities with attention to financial performance and variance management
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to wear PPE and perform field walks and inspections in industrial/manufacturing environments
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree or MBA in relevant discipline
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
- OSHA 30 or industry-specific safety training credentials
- Experience with EPC, design-build, or stage-gate project delivery methodologies
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in fast-paced operational settings
- Familiarity with navigating operational constraints such as production downtime scheduling and complex plant safety protocols

Estimated compensation for this position:120,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
