Full Job Description
Senior Project Manager Construction We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading global General Contractor. In this role, you will lead, direct, and coordinate the overall management of multiple complex projects. Operating as a pivotal leader within our operations team, you will report directly to executive leadership (Project Executive / Operations Manager) and drive the successful delivery of major builds from preconstruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities Develop a high-performance project team through direct supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring; ensure continuous feedback and complete timely performance appraisals. Fully understand and administer prime contracts and subcontract agreements; manage project budgets, financial reporting, and deep-dive analysis to ensure adherence to financial targets. Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule; manage field operations, engineering processes, and overall QA/QC programs. Foster and enhance strong working relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Collaborate with the Preconstruction team during project development; partner with Accounting to initiate the Pay Application process and ensure timely payment management. Drive strict enforcement of safety protocols across the project site and educate teams on labor, employee relations, and insurance requirements. Keep the leadership team informed on project progress and financial status through regularly scheduled Operations Review Meetings (ORMs). Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training). Minimum of ten (10) years of related construction project management experience, ideally delivering large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects. Thorough knowledge of construction costing, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and construction management software is required. Proven ability to implement leading-edge technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean Construction principles. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a demonstrated track record of strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands & Work Environment This role is regularly based on-site at active construction locations.
