Responsibilities

  • Appoint and oversee a Program Manager for the task order and associated technical initiatives.

  • Manage tasks to achieve cost, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Notify the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) of any potential issues affecting task performance.
  • Regularly present and discuss task order status and issues.
  • Provide monthly status reports on work progress, assigned tasks, costs, and any potential problems.

Job Description

Sr. Program Manager

Please note that the availability of this position is contingent upon award.

Description:
  • Shall appoint and maintain a Program Manager (PM) for this TO and its associated TIs.
  • Shall be the primary POC for all work performed under the TO.
  • Shall provide the management necessary to ensure efficient and effective administration and control of each TI.
  • Shall manage tasks to meet cost, schedule, and performance of each TI.
  • Shall inform the COR of any performance, schedule, cost, or other concerns that may adversely affect the performance of any TI.
  • Shall be prepared at all times to present and discuss the status of TO activities, requirements, and issues.
  • Shall provide a monthly status report to document work progress and status of the program, assigned tasks, costs, and existing or potential problem areas.
  • A list of deliverables and Trip/Travel Report shall be provided along with the task order status report.

Security Clearance:
  • Security clearance required SECRET level.

  • Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Job Requirements

Required qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of experience planning, organizing, directing, and controlling programs to meet objectives, including experience working with US Government organizations.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a manager of a team of skilled professional, technical, and support personnel.

Desired qualification:
  • Five (5) years of experience in supporting unmanned systems programs.

Required education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Managerial field.

Location:
  • Norfolk, VA.
