Full Job Description
Your Mission
As part of the Engine team, you'll help drive the supply connectivity roadmap, the connective layer between Engine and external suppliers, and the spine of a major strategic bet on using supply as a competitive differentiator. This is a technical product role. You'll be working close to the systems, weighing integration and architecture tradeoffs alongside engineering, and helping set direction on how supply data flows and performs at scale. Here's what you'll take charge of:
  • Drive the supply connectivity roadmap: Shape how content, rates, and availability flow from external suppliers into Engine, and help the broader team understand what you're building and why it matters.
  • Ship the integrations that unlock new markets: Partner with engineering to build connections to major supplier platforms, pushing toward simple, outcome-oriented solutions. Technical elegance is not the goal. What ships and what it unlocks is.
  • Improve performance and scale at the foundation: Contribute to the work on caching, availability guarantees, and the systems that keep supply performant as Engine expands into new content sources and supplier types.
  • Collaborate with commercial and partnerships teams: Work closely on integration approaches and models, weigh in on prioritization tradeoffs, and hold your ground when it matters.

What You'll Bring to EngineWe're looking for someone ready to make a real impact on a foundational part of Engine:
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in product management, with a track record of shipping connectivity or integration products between internal systems and external partners. B2B API product background and exposure to multimodal supply systems are strong pluses.
  • Judgment: You have conviction and aren't a pushover. You can tell an engineer or a stakeholder "no" and explain why, and you're comfortable with tension in service of the right outcome. You help make hard prioritization calls and stand behind them.
  • Technical depth: This is a technical product role. You're comfortable in the details of APIs, integration patterns, caching, and performance tradeoffs, with enough depth to hold your own with engineers on architecture decisions, and enough discipline to not get seduced by complexity. You push toward the simplest thing that works.
  • Presence and agency: You show up as a peer to strong technical and commercial partners. You don't hide behind "the team thinks." You take accountability for your part of decisions and outcomes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and high stakes: You move fast without perfect information and hold conviction when the path is unclear. You're not tuning an existing machine. You're helping build it under pressure.

Applications for this role will be accepted through 11/5/26 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.
