Full Job Description
WHO ARE YOU

Platform thinkers. Outcome obsessed.

Builders. Problem-solvers. Curious minds. People who move fast, embrace AI as a competitive edge, and believe that great internal platforms make every team better.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Where you sit.

You'll be embedded in the Product team, at the intersection of business operations and Nesto Cloud. Your closest partners will be Senior Salesforce Developers, who own the technical architecture, Apex and integrations, alongside stakeholders across sales, mortgage advisory, and operations.

Your job is to own the what and why. The developer owns the how. Together, you're the engine behind everything Salesforce at Nesto.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Own the platform. Shape the experience.

Salesforce Product Ownership

  • Own the Salesforce product roadmap from discovery through delivery, adoption, and iteration.
  • Translate requirements from sales, mortgage advisory, marketing, and operations into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria your developer can build from immediately.
  • Manage the backlog and sprint cycles in close partnership with our Senior Salesforce Developers and engineering teams.
  • Drive user adoption and change management: people should want to use the tools you build.
  • Define and track KPIs for each feature; use data to continuously improve the platform.
  • Stay ahead of Salesforce's annual releases, evaluating new capabilities.

Cross-Platform Flexibility

  • Flex to adjacent platforms: customer portals, partner tools, or other user-facing SaaS, applying the same product discipline regardless of the underlying stack.
  • Partner with UX and design to ensure a coherent experience across every user touchpoint.
  • Bring a platform-agnostic mindset: the goal is always the best outcome for users, not loyalty to any one tool.

Market & User Intelligence

  • Run competitive analysis and market research to keep our platform strategy sharp and ahead of the curve.
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback through interviews, surveys, and usage analytics to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and with conviction to stakeholders at all levels: from ops leads to the executive team.

AI-Augmented Ways of Working

  • Actively use AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Figma AI, etc.) to accelerate research, writing, analysis, and prototyping. Every day, not occasionally.
  • Model what high-leverage AI usage looks like and help your colleagues level up alongside you.
  • Evaluate Salesforce's native AI capabilities (Einstein, Agentforce) as part of your platform roadmap: know when to build vs. buy vs. enable.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The profile.

Required

  • 5-7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years directly owning a Salesforce environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of Salesforce's core clouds: Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud at minimum.
  • Enough platform fluency to hold a conversation with a Senior Salesforce Developer: you don't write Apex, but you deeply understand what it takes to build what you're asking for.
  • Strong analytical instincts: you use data to frame problems, prioritize features, and measure outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator who translates naturally between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Proven, active fluency with AI tools in your professional work.

Nice to have

  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns.
  • Experience managing non-Salesforce platforms.
  • Background in fintech, mortgage, or lending.
  • Exposure to UX research methods and user journey mapping.

YOU SHOULDN'T APPLY IF

Be honest with yourself.

  • You've never directly owned a Salesforce roadmap. Being adjacent doesn't count: we need someone who has done this.
  • You can't hold a technical conversation with a senior developer. You don't build, but you need to understand what you're asking others to build.
  • You think AI tools are a trend to watch rather than a lever to pull. We expect active, productive usage, not awareness.
  • You need a fully defined problem to get started. The best people here create the structure, they don't wait for it.
  • You're looking for a slow, consensus-driven environment. Uncomfortable ambition is one of our values, and we mean it.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

How we get to know each other.

  • Recruiter Screen - 30 minutes
  • Discovery Call with Director of Product - 30 minutes
  • Take-home Assignment followed by Presentation and Q&A - 60 minutes
  • Final Stakeholder Interview - 45 minutes

THE REWARD

What you get.

  • The A-Team: Work alongside high-performing talent in product, tech, and the mortgage industry.
  • Accelerated Growth: The slope of your learning curve here will be vertical. You will touch more production systems in one year than you would in five years elsewhere.
  • Top-Tier Coverage: Premium benefits plan fully paid by nesto, including comprehensive insurance and unlimited access to telemedicine and mental health services for you and your family.
  • Rest & Recharge: 4 weeks of vacation to ensure you stay at peak performance.
  • Best-in-Class Tools: Everything you need to execute without friction, including the AI tools that make you faster.
  • Working Framework: The environment that makes you productive and enables real teamwork.
