Full Job Description
About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own one of the most important surfaces in Traba's business: the core staffing marketplace that powers how enterprise customers fill labor demand across warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

This is not a traditional consumer product role. Our product lives inside real world operations where every decision impacts labor supply, fulfillment rates, customer outcomes, and marketplace health. You'll operate at the center of a complex system balancing workers, customers, incentives, operations teams, and software.

You will work directly with engineering, operations, sales, and leadership to build products that improve marketplace efficiency while solving practical problems for customers operating large scale industrial facilities. You will partner closely with regional operators, warehouse leadership, and enterprise stakeholders to understand workflows firsthand and translate them into scalable systems.

This role requires strong product judgment under marketplace constraints, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to move quickly without large teams or heavy process.

What You'll Do

Define and own product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows

Build products that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency

Design systems that balance worker experience, customer needs, and business outcomes across both sides of the marketplace

Partner directly with enterprise customers including regional operations leaders, branch managers, and warehouse stakeholders to deeply understand operational pain points

Build and iterate on operational tooling that powers internal teams and improves marketplace execution

Translate complex operational workflows into scalable product systems

Write clear product requirements and work closely with engineering to rapidly ship solutions

Use data, experimentation, and customer insight to identify opportunities and prioritize investments

Launch products iteratively and drive rollout strategies across customers and regions

What We're Looking For

Marketplace Experience

Deep experience building products within two sided marketplaces where supply and demand dynamics matter. You understand concepts like liquidity, matching systems, incentives, marketplace health, and operational tradeoffs.
Enterprise B2B Experience

Experience building products for complex enterprise customers with multiple stakeholders and long buying cycles. You are comfortable navigating procurement processes, regional implementations, and layered customer organizations.

Ideal candidates have built products for operators, logistics teams, warehouse customers, field teams, or other operational users.
Operations Tooling Experience

Strong preference for candidates who have built internal products or operational systems used to run real businesses. You understand that some of the most important products are not customer facing and can deeply appreciate workflow design and operational leverage.
Builder Mentality

You move quickly, operate with urgency, and can ship high impact products without large teams or layers of process. You thrive in environments where speed and judgment matter.

We particularly value experience in high growth startups and operationally complex businesses over highly specialized large company environments.

Ideal Background
  • 5 to 10+ years of product management experience
  • Experience in marketplaces, logistics, staffing, supply chain, workforce technology, mobility, or operational software
  • Track record of shipping products at meaningful scale
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to partner deeply with engineering
  • Strong systems thinking and comfort operating across business, product, and operational constraints
  • Experience working closely with GTM, operations, and executive leadership teams
  • Bonus points for SQL, coding experience, experimentation frameworks, or AI product exposure

Benefits
  • Start-up equity
  • Competitive Salary
  • 100% Paid health, dental & vision coverage
  • Dinner Provided via Grubhub & stocked kitchen for NY employees
  • 🚍 Commuter benefit
  • Team building events
  • 🏋 Gympass Benefit
  • Flexible PTO
  • ✚✚ Additional: One Medical Membership, Gympass, HSA via Optum, Talkspace, Health Advocate, Teledoc Health
