JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the content discovery experience across our digital properties. This Senior Product Manager understands how audiences find, navigate, and engage with content at scale and who can translate that understanding into product decisions that serve both editorial intent and user need.

You will drive content discovery across FOX News Media digital properties, including brand hubs, vertical destinations, topic pages, and the navigational architecture that connects users to the content they're looking for. You'll work closely with editorial, engineering, design, and data teams to define the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for how News organizes and surfaces content across its digital ecosystem, as well as how content is presented and experienced by user

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for content discovery, including brand hubs, topic pages, vertical navigation, and content taxonomy
  • Define and prioritize a roadmap grounded in audience data, editorial goals, and business objectives
  • Translate ambiguous editorial and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve how audiences find and engage with content across FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Radio and OutKick experiences

Discovery & Information Architecture

  • Lead the design and evolution of content taxonomy, metadata standards, and tagging frameworks that power discovery experiences
  • Partner with editorial to define how brand and vertical hubs are structured, curated, and maintained
  • Develop a coherent navigation structure that balances editorial control with scalable content organization
  • Evaluate and improve navigational surfaces — menus, hubs, topic pages, related content — through user research and experimentation

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Serve as the connective tissue between editorial, engineering, design, and SEO teams on all content discovery workstreams
  • Write clear, detailed PRDs and user stories that give engineering teams what they need to build with confidence
  • Own sprint ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
  • Drive sprint-level execution, unblocking dependencies and maintaining delivery momentum
  • Contribute to SEO strategy as it relates to content discoverability and page architecture

Data & Measurement

  • Define success metrics for content discovery features
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to instrument features, build dashboards, and generate actionable insights
  • Use experimentation (A/B testing) to validate product decisions and iterate with rigor

AI-Powered Ways of Working

  • Actively uses AI agents as a core part of daily product workflows - not as an occasional tool but as a practiced, default approach to getting work done
  • Applies AI to research, synthesis, and analysis, including competitive research, user behavior pattern recognition, and data summarization
  • Leverages AI for PRD drafting, user story creation, and sprint preparation

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Required

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of owning complex, audience-facing product areas
  • Deep experience in content discovery, information architecture, content taxonomy, or navigational product design
  • Strong understanding of how metadata, tagging, and content structure affect both user experience and search/SEO performance
  • Fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day product workflow, with a demonstrated habit of reaching for these tools to move faster and think more rigorously
  • Comfort operating in a content-rich, editorially-driven environment
  • Experience using data and experimentation to drive product decisions; fluency with analytics tools and A/B testing platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can present a roadmap to leadership and facilitate alignment across opinionated stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently on a lean team, managing multiple workstreams without close supervision
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience at a digital media, news, or publishing company
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and editorial publishing workflows
  • Experience with personalization or recommendation systems that inform content surfacing
  • Track record improving audience engagement metrics
  • Experience using AI agents or automated workflows to accelerate product work
  • Exposure to SEO strategy and how content architecture decisions affect organic discovery
