A Business Analyst with strong airline reservation domain expertise, deep understanding of Sabre systems, experience managing Agile backlogs, and the ability to convert complex business requirements into deliverable solutions while coordinating effectively across business and technology teams. The Business Analyst - One Air & Air Systems serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting the One Air middleware platform, which connects airline reservation systems with airline services for shopping, booking, ticketing, fulfillment, and PNR management. The role combines business analysis, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and Product Owner support within an Agile environment.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
Translate high-level requirements into:

Functional Requirements
Ensure stories meet the team's Definition of Ready.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
Airline Domain Analysis
Analyze and improve airline processes including:
Booking
Ticketing
Exchanges
Refunds
Schedule Changes
Queue Management
PNR Management
Assess impacts of airline system enhancements and process changes.
Backlog & Product Support
Manage and groom the One Air product backlog under guidance from the Senior Product Manager.
Recommend prioritization of:
Enhancements
Defects
Technical Debt
New Features
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
Act as liaison between:
Business Stakeholders
Air Operations
Reservations Teams
Revenue Management

Educate delivery teams on airline business processes and operational requirements.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX teams, and SMEs.
Testing & Release Support

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150-$174,000.
