Full Job Description
Position Summary

Odyssey is looking for a Senior Product Management Support (Team Lead) to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA), located at Ft. Detrick, MD. This role oversees acquisition program management and business operations for the Warfighter Readiness Performance and Brain Health (WRPBH) division. This leader will guide day-to-day medical product development activities, ensuring adherence to DoD acquisition policies and optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead the PMO team, coordinate day-to-day medical product development activities, and provide training and oversight of established procedures.
  • Participate in and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Milestone Decision Reviews (MDRs).
  • Analyze existing business operations processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.Coordinate site visits and support operational assessment and testing.
  • Use the electronic document management system to prepare and maintain project management documents, including stakeholder communication plans, decision logs, and executive summaries.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for external requests for information and coordinate responses across subject matter experts.
  • Support market research and review of existing tech base programs. Participate in task forces and surveys to determine the adequacy of medical equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.

Clearance: Ability to Obtain Secret.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.

Years of Experience: At least 8 years of full-time work experience in DoD acquisition program management and business operations.

Other Requirement:
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Prior experience in process improvement and business operations optimization within a defense or healthcare setting.

Experience with DHA/USAMMDA preferred

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
