Full Job Description
The Opportunity with McKinstry:

We are currently seeking a Sr. Procurement Agent to join McKinstry as a member of our Purchasing team. Develops and implements indirect spend contracting strategies and procurement activities, in support of strategic initiatives to standardize and optimize the supply base.

Additional Responsibilities
• Work with management and stakeholders to plan and implement early procurement opportunities and activities in medium-to-high value strategic projects in the indirect procurement space.
• Lead the development of project scope and procurement plans; identify project spend opportunities to leverage Company volume.
• Apply knowledge of supply chain management and indirect spend categories to ensure product delivery, quality assurance and product problem avoidance and resolution.
• Competitively source technology spend through engagement of strategic suppliers and application of industry knowledge.
• Monitor and manage brand/group level and corporate spend volumes.
• Benchmark spend against the marketplace; participate in and/or lead company and interdepartmental procurement initiatives to generate savings and efficiencies.
• Develop and issue RFI, RFP &RFQ/P's (RFX): Evaluate bids, recommend suppliers, negotiate agreements, monitor and administer agreements and execute change orders.
• Gather and interpret relevant data; utilizing key procurement information, system technology, e-commerce and other systems.
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action to ensure goods and services are delivered as contracted.
• Work with Manager to establish and track savings targets and other performance metrics (KPI's).
• Draft, negotiate, project manage and execute contractual documents including master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, item creation, BOM's and Purchase Orders.
• Develop strategic partnerships to ensure optimal levels for quality, cost and delivery to all areas of McKinstry and its subsidiaries.

Required Education, Knowledge and Abilities
• Expert level of negotiation skills and practices, price/cost analysis, contract formation and administration, project procurement, sourcing, distribution and logistics processes required.
• Familiarity with various best practice sourcing approaches and techniques required.
• Ability to successfully lead, manage, and influence in a cross-functional team environment required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully required.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively required.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications required.
• Strong Sourcing skills, including sourcing methodology and process, e-Sourcing technology, RFX development and management required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred; Job-related experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• 7+ years of related work experience in procurement or sourcing required,
• Deep understanding of at least two sourcing categories and a good understanding of an additional 5-10 categories (e.g. pricing structures, terminology, bidding sheet development expertise, cost structure, key vendors, etc.) required

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
• Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $72,100.00 - $105,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
