Job DescriptionOverview Join OCI to lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale streaming and ad delivery systems that demand ultra-low latency, exceptional reliability, and global performance. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who drives technical direction, solves deeply complex distributed systems problems, and raises the bar for engineering excellence across teams.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities- Lead the design and evolution of scalable, resilient backend services for video delivery, ad insertion, and real-time traffic orchestration.
- Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and partner across product, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable systems.
- Drive architecture reviews, resolve high-severity performance and scaling issues, and establish best practices for quality, observability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or real-time streaming platforms.
- Strong experience with high-scale backend architectures, networking, service reliability, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including architecture ownership, cross-functional influence, and mentoring senior engineers.
- Experience with video delivery, ad tech, or low-latency media systems is highly preferred.
QualificationsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
