Senior Portfolio and Asset Management Specialist

Description

The Senior Portfolio and Asset Management Specialist will provide senior-level portfolio analysis, occupancy strategy development, asset planning, scenario modeling, and executive decision support. The successful candidate will help the Government optimize the performance and utilization of real property assets while supporting long-term planning and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and day-to-day management for a multidisciplinary real estate services team consisting of Portfolio and Asset Management, Customer Account Management, Data Analytics, Occupancy and Space Management, Real Estate Financial Analysis, and Amenity Services functions.
  • Ensure effective integration of all functional areas to support Government real estate objectives, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and portfolio optimization.
  • Establish performance goals, monitor deliverables, and ensure all team activities align with contract requirements, service level agreements, and quality standards.
  • Oversee portfolio planning, asset utilization strategies, real estate program execution, and facility optimization initiatives.
  • Guide long-range portfolio planning and coordinate asset management activities to maximize operational efficiency and value.
  • Direct customer account management activities and serve as the senior escalation point for Government stakeholders.
  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure customer requirements are translated into actionable program objectives and deliverables.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of portfolio, occupancy, financial, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making by reviewing key performance indicators, trends, forecasting models, and executive reporting products.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives through performance monitoring and operational assessments.
  • Oversee workplace planning, occupancy analysis, space utilization studies, and recommendations supporting efficient real estate operations.
  • Ensure alignment between occupancy planning, customer requirements, and portfolio management objectives.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Ten years of progressively responsible program, real estate, or portfolio management experience.

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary professional services teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with federal sector real estate programs.
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant office portfolios or facilities exceeding 500,000 square feet
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical discipline, sound reporting judgment, and the ability to create useful performance products for management review. Relevant experience includes working with dashboards, performance measures, management reports, data controls, and decision-support products.
  • Candidates should be comfortable supporting performance visibility across real estate operations, including space utilization, tenant pipelines, onboarding milestones, agreement status, issue tracking, response and resolution time, rent and revenue forecasts, billing discrepancies, data completeness, data accuracy, process development, duty transition, and risk identification.
