Job DescriptionAs a Software Developer 3 (IC3) in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will design, develop, and operate highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services. You will work with senior engineers and architects to build distributed systems that power Oracle Cloud while taking ownership of well-defined service components from design through production operations.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
- Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, SRE, and partner engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and documentation.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and development processes.
Required Technical Skills- Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience operating production cloud services.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing).
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization.

QualificationsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
