Full Job Description
The Senior Partner Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of high-potential and strategic partners across an assigned territory, market segment or partner specialization.

This includes identifying new partnership opportunities, accelerating the productivity of existing partners and expanding Prophix's presence within priority partner ecosystems. The successful candidate will join a high growth team and be responsible for achieving partner pipeline revenue and growth targets. They will be a true entrepreneurial hunter, ready and prepared to do the activity necessary to be successful. A driven, self -motivated, results-oriented individual with a need to win.

Requirements

What You Will Do
  • Effectively grow and manage a channel sales territory including preparation and execution of a sales territory plan
  • You will create & execute individual partner plans aligned to the overall North American Channel strategy and model and work collaboratively with regional partners to develop and execute business strategies and plans to support growth through the Prophix Channel
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships within your assigned partner accounts to increase Prophix adoption and further our channel footprint with the individual partners
  • Responsible for achieving territory channel pipeline and sales targets
  • Assist partners as required throughout their sales cycles, including supporting "end to end" cycles for new & onboarding partners
  • Articulate Prophix' business benefits and value proposition to partner prospects, partners, partner clients/prospects
  • Collaborate with the Prophix Field Marketing team on partner campaigns including lead generation and nurture events, partner sales education and partner adoption
  • Act as a company representative at conferences and onsite partner events, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Internal/external liaison representing both Partner and Prophix interests to other departments across the organization (i.e. Prophix Academy, Marketing, Finance and Administration, Direct Sales, Professional Services, Development & Customer Support)
  • Work effectively within cross functional teams
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results, remaining accountable for your performance
  • Ensure your partners are following Prophix partner processes and meeting program & individual status requirements
  • Maintain accurate record keeping and reporting within Prophix systems

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, strategic account management, business development or enterprise software sales, including experience owning revenue or pipeline targets.
  • Demonstrated success growing complex partner, alliance or customer relationships within a B2B software, SaaS, consulting, accounting or technology environment.
  • Enjoy the challenge of developing new business and the ability to effectively grow and manage a partner territory
  • Proven track record of project management or meeting sales objectives and territory/account development
  • Competitive and ambitious with a history of managing complex, conceptual, solution implementation or sales with partners
  • Capable of navigating complex organization charts and getting buy-in at multiple levels of an organization (both technical and operational)
  • Experience with Consultative selling considered an asset
  • Understand and keep up-to-date with technology and competitive applications
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey value propositions to a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States, and internationally as needed; valid passport required
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with large-scale Advisory and/or ISV partners.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Marketing or related discipline considered an asset
  • Proficient in use of salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of accounting and/or financial concepts (either academic or practical) considered an asset
  • Is a self-motivated, driven, results oriented individual with a strong desire to win
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of partners and their customers including senior employees/executives both remote and onsite
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to perform the activities required to be successful based on best practices
