What You'll Do as the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
  • Support commercial litigation matters involving business disputes, breach of contract claims, construction-related matters, and policyholder insurance litigation
  • Manage cases from early discovery through trial preparation, including docketing, deadlines, filings, document organization, and case logistics
  • Draft and edit litigation documents such as deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, pleadings, and other court filings
  • Handle federal and Arizona state court filings and stay current on procedural requirements
  • Manage complex e-discovery matters involving large document sets, including document review, organization, productions, and coordination with attorneys
  • Keep attorneys organized and proactively monitor deadlines so important dates and deliverables do not slip
  • Communicate professionally with corporate clients, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, and other outside parties as needed
  • Provide limited transactional support, approximately 10-20% of the role, including operating agreements and other general business documents
  • Pitch in on administrative responsibilities when needed, including occasional phone coverage and general office support

Must-Haves as the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
  • Approximately 5-10+ years of substantive litigation paralegal experience, with significant exposure to commercial, business, construction, insurance, or other complex civil litigation
  • Deep hands-on experience with e-discovery and large document matters, including strong Relativity experience
  • Working knowledge of federal and Arizona civil procedure, PACER, and Arizona court filing systems
  • Excellent written English, grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and document editing skills
  • Exceptional organization and docket management skills, with the confidence to proactively keep multiple attorneys on track
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to work comfortably across case management, document review, and e-discovery platforms
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact appropriately with corporate clients
  • A stable employment history and demonstrated ability to take ownership of a demanding litigation workload
  • Ability to work in the Central Phoenix office five days per week

Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
  • Experience with construction-related commercial disputes
  • Experience representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage or bad-faith matters
  • Familiarity with MyCase and Nextpoint
  • Experience supporting business or corporate transactional work, including operating agreements
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve legal research, drafting, document review, or workflow efficiency
  • Paralegal certification or formal paralegal training

We Offer:
  • Base salary of $85,000-$100,000 depending on experience
  • Medical insurance through Aetna with 100% of the employee premium paid by the firm
  • Employer-paid dental insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Defined benefit pension plan
  • Paid time off
  • No billable-hour requirement
  • Predictable in-office schedules, generally 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • A culture where unusually long days are the exception rather than the expectation
  • A close-knit boutique environment where attorneys and staff know one another, enjoy team lunches and events, and work collaboratively
  • The opportunity to join an established firm that has been growing for nearly a decade
  • Potential longer-term growth into mentoring or managing a more junior team member as the firm expands
