MANTECH seeks a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Office Manager/Staff Officer to join our team in Springfield, VA.

This role supports senior executive leadership and mission managers by driving operational efficiency, seamless administrative management, and strategic cross-enterprise coordination. As a Senior Office Manager/Staff Officer, you will leverage your expertise to enable executive decision-making, facilitate interagency engagement, and manage critical office workflows within a high-tempo environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to office directors, deputy directors, and chiefs of staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with mission integration teams to enable overall enterprise integration and business process optimization.
  • Manage executive calendars, coordinate travel itineraries, and handle meeting logistics including VTC arrangements and facility scheduling.
  • Enable executive leadership to participate in interagency, defense, intelligence community, and industry engagements through information collection, briefing preparation, and material synthesis.
  • Facilitate executive tasking workflows using enterprise task management systems to ensure timely response and tracking.
  • Coordinate executive travel requests and vouchers in accordance with government travel regulations and enterprise standards.
  • Partner with business operations team members to oversee routine office administrative tasks and resolve workflow bottlenecks.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 11+ years of related experience, or 15+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to integrate, prioritize, and satisfy tasks and requirements within short timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Expert knowledge of and technical proficiency using the Defense Travel System (DTS).


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience communicating in a professional manner with senior executives, internal leadership, and external agency partners.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills to independently resolve scheduling conflicts, travel logistics, and administrative priorities.
  • At least 24 months of demonstrated experience analyzing job-related problems and recommending solutions requiring coordination across multiple organizations.
  • At least 24 months of demonstrated experience in planning and implementing complex programs or projects involving diverse objectives.
  • Prior experience supporting senior executive management within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer, scanner, and copy machine.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $87,600.00-$145,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
