Senior Navy Logistics & Readiness Specialist - Position Description

ICI Services-a 100% employee-owned company proudly celebrating 26 years ofexcellence-is seeking Senior Navy Logistics & Readiness Specialist toimmediately support of a major Program Executive Office (PEO) in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

The ideal candidate will combine Navy shipbuilding or program office logistics experience with a metrics-driven approach to logistics performance, material readiness, and operational availability. The successful candidate will be highly organized, agile, proactive, and responsive, with the ability to translate complex logistics data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership

Responsibilities:
  • Support logistics readiness and performance activities across COSEL/COSAL, Casualty Reports (CASREPs), Readiness Based Sparing (RBS), MBS, and Navy Configuration Management.
  • Develop, track, and analyze key logistics metrics, including Operational Availability (Ao), material readiness, CASREP trends and aging, inventory and supply performance, logistics delay time, sparing effectiveness, and applicable KPPs/KSAs.
  • Identify logistics trends, root causes, and emerging readiness risks and provide actionable recommendations to program leadership.
  • Analyze relationships among equipment configuration, casualties, sparing, supply availability, maintenance, and operational readiness to identify opportunities to improve logistics performance.
  • Support Navy Configuration Management, including identification and resolution of discrepancies across physical configuration, logistics products, provisioning information, and authoritative program records.
  • Extract, reconcile, and analyze inventory, material, supply, and property data from Navy ERP and other authoritative Navy systems.
  • Support Government property and material accountability, including inventory tracking, reconciliation, shortages, excess material, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Develop dashboards, executive briefs, performance reports, and rapid-response analyses that provide leadership with clear visibility into logistics performance and readiness.
  • Collaborate with logistics, engineering, acquisition, supply, maintenance, configuration management, and other program stakeholders to resolve issues.

Experiences:
  • 10+ years of Navy/DoD logistics, shipbuilding, supply, readiness, or configuration management experience.
  • Navy shipbuilding or program office experience strongly preferred, including support to NAVSEA, DPAE/PEO/PMS organizations, warfare centers, ISEAs, or Fleet activities.
  • Working knowledge of COSEL/COSAL, CASREP, RBS, MBS, Navy Configuration Management, operational availability, and material readiness.
  • Experience with Navy ERP, inventory/material management, and Government property accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to integrate and reconcile information across multiple Navy data sources.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI or similar data visualization experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop concise, executive-level metrics, dashboards, briefs, and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and rapidly respond to emerging leadership requirements.


Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Management or a related field.
