Position Description:

Join CGI Federal's team supporting critical government systems including Momentum ERP, Concur Travel, G Invoicing, IPP, and others. You will support a highly stable federal customer with an important mission that contributes to public safety and justice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system issues, helping users, and working in an environment where customer service excellence matters. You will bring strong system expertise, a genuine desire to help people, and the ability to guide and mentor junior help desk agents. This position is fully on site at the client location five days per week and offers the opportunity to make a daily impact through meaningful work and consistent client interaction.
This position is located in Fairfax.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Momentum ERP and related systems such as Concur, G Invoicing, and IPP. Troubleshoot technical and functional issues, support users with professionalism and empathy, and contribute to knowledge articles, ticket documentation, and process improvement. Coach junior team members on communication techniques and effective issue resolution. Participate in onboarding and training sessions, collaborate with internal teams on system updates, and communicate changes or outages clearly to stakeholders. Identify recurring problems, recommend improvements, and support a positive experience for users across the help desk environment.
This role requires reliable on site presence at the client location five days per week.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Three to five years of service desk or help desk experience preferably with ERP or government systems. Experience supporting Momentum ERP or similar applications, strong troubleshooting skills, and strong customer service experience in high volume environments. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coach junior staff, work independently, and collaborate with others. U.S. citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to work on site at the client location five days per week.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Experience supporting federal customers. Familiarity with Jira Service Management, Atlassian tools, or similar platforms. Remote support skills and comfort working in structured environments. ITIL Foundation certification. Strong organization, adaptability, and time management skills. Interest in continuous improvement and mentoring junior team members. Candidates with a passion for customer service, problem solving, and service desk culture will excel.
Preference for candidates who thrive in on site, face to face support environments.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $153,300.00.
