About the role

At Rippling, data is at the heart of our business and the Revenue Operations team leverages this data to provide the insights that have made Rippling one of the fastest growing companies in the world. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role you'll be a business partner to senior Marketing, Sales, and Finance leaders to both build and operationalize a strategy for your dedicated part of the organization. This role will be focused on our rapidly growing Marketing team, which will provide a high level of exposure to senior leadership as well as unique career growth opportunities.

You will be based in either our San Francisco, CA or New York City office, and will be required to be in office 3x/week.

What you will do

  • Act as a business partner for Marketing leadership - you will be a strategic thought partner and responsible for operational cadence of the business
  • Build monthly and quarterly reporting while driving ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities and problem areas within the business
  • Frame business problems for the Marketing organization and communicate insights while recommending and executing solutions to opportunities and problem areas
  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects; including structuring business problems, exploring solutions, implementing/refining processes, and measuring impact
  • Partner cross-functionally on key components of our annual planning process including modeling and target setting
  • Coordinate with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance teammates on systems and process improvements for the Marketing organization

What you will need

  • 8+ years of professional work experience or 6+ years at a Tech company (ideally B2B SaaS) in a Revenue/Sales Operations, Marketing Strategy, Marketing / Sales Finance, Business Operations, Consulting, or Investment Banking role.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or a hyper growth environment
  • Expert-level analytical, modeling, and conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Expertise using Microsoft Excel / Google G-Sheets, familiarity with BI Tools (Tableau, Snowflake)
  • Experience using AI and SQL is preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

129,000 - 215,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)

116,100 - 193,500 USD per year (US Tier 2)

109,650 - 182,750 USD per year (US Tier 3)
