WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Serve as a Process Lead for RBC's IT Asset Management and Technology End-of-life Control Transformation team. You will assess the current state control environment across RBC and its subsidiaries, analyze existing control workflows, and identify key pain points and improvement opportunities.

Collaborating with domain and system teams, you'll define future state control processes and support domain-specific PRC analysis. Partner with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of Quick Wins and implementation of the future state roadmap, while gaining alignment with internal risk appetite and regulatory expectations. This role demands a strong process improvement, risk and governance background, with the ability to draw data-driven insights to inform decisions in a complex environment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Assess the current state control environment for RBC's IT Asset Management and Technology End-of-life, including maintaining holistic control inventory, mapping workflows, identifying pain points, and validating coverage
  • Partner with Control Owners to perform Control Rationalization Assessments and productivity studies; align decisions with 2LOD/3LOD compliance standards
  • Support domain-specific PRC analysis and execute rationalization dispositions
  • Act as liaison to domain process/control owners, providing improvement recommendations based on data insights, QA results, and stakeholder feedback
  • Design future state control processes and target operating model, including governance structure, escalation paths, and control procedures
  • Identify Quick Wins collaboratively with domain and system teams and define future state control processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement automation roadmap and socialize the new operating model to obtain concurrence
  • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders on remediation process expectations, submissions, and documentation requirements


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:
  • Strong understanding of process and procedure design, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management and/or direct involvement in End-of-Life programs
  • Leadership experience in risk compliance and remediation solutions
  • Extensive experience in large-scale remediation programs
  • Strong analytical mindset with fundamental knowledge of using data to validate outcomes, identify anomalies, and surface emerging risks
  • Proficiency with workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent IT Service Management tools)
  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and onboard teams on new processes and procedures
  • Results-oriented project management background with ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation, verbal, and written, with comfort presenting to senior-level management and executives


Nice-to-have:
  • ITIL Foundation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification
  • Project Management Professional/Program Management Professional (PMP/PGMP) designation
  • Experience in matrix environments within large, publicly-traded corporations
