Full Job Description
Clearly articulated strategy and plans provide clarity around how we as a team move forward to achieve our mission. TriForza is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategy to support our product leaders in developing their product strategy, support leadership in developing emerging strategies, and connecting our execution plans to strategy and our operating cycles. You will be working with product leaders to craft their product strategies, linear execution plans, and goals to be summarized in annual operating plans. You will work with leadership on developing strategies from concept to execution plans, receiving support from the Enterprise strategy planning function for the annual operating rhythm and schedule.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $133,100 - $218,100, and for Eastern Washington varies between $110,700 - $181,800. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Enterprise Planning and Execution

  • Lead TriForza's strategy and planning process, including long-range strategy, annual operating plans, strategic priorities, and goals.
  • Guide business and product leaders through strategy development, helping translate business needs and opportunities into clear priorities, strategic choices, required capabilities, measurable outcomes, and actionable plans.
  • Translate customer insights, market conditions, leader input, and operational realities into strategies, roadmaps, goals, and decision materials.
  • Establish planning and performance routines to track progress against strategic priorities, key milestones, and enterprise goals.
  • Work with leaders to identify barriers to execution and determine where additional alignment, resources, escalation, or leadership decisions are needed.


Strategic Analysis and Portfolio Management

  • Lead analysis of market, customer, competitive, regulatory, technology, and economic trends that may affect TriForza's strategy, growth, or market position.
  • Bring customer, stakeholder, and enterprise perspectives into business and product strategies to identify opportunities, gaps, and areas requiring greater alignment.
  • Identify competing priorities, dependencies, and tradeoffs across strategies and facilitate discussions that help leaders reach clear decisions.
  • Manage the enterprise portfolio view, evaluate the impact of proposed changes, and communicate changes and implications to stakeholders and clients.
  • Lead and develop the Portfolio Manager role, setting clear priorities and expectations while supporting effective portfolio planning, visibility, and coordination across the organization.


Executive Support

  • Develop clear executive level materials that frame strategic issues, options, tradeoffs, recommendations, expected outcomes, and decisions needed.
  • Partner with leaders to shape strategy-related agendas, presentations, and discussions for executive and governance forums.
  • Coordinate contributors and presenters to ensure strategy materials are accurate, aligned, clear, and delivered on time.
  • Capture key decisions, owners, and next steps and track follow-through on strategic commitments.


Strategy Governance

  • Develop and manage governance routines that give leaders a consistent view of enterprise priorities, risks, decisions, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning forums, working sessions, and decision processes that clarify ownership and move strategic work forward.
  • Connect related strategies and initiatives across business, product, technology, and operational teams to identify dependencies, reduce duplication, and surface conflicting priorities.
  • Build effective partnerships across business, product, technology, and operational teams to support enterprise planning, governance, and execution.

  • Background developing product and business strategies and translating business needs, customer insights, market opportunities, and product concepts into clear priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans.
  • Proven success leading and developing people, setting clear expectations and accountability, and supporting growth and performance.
  • Ability to evaluate strategic opportunities, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs and develop clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Clear communication and partnership skills, with experience working across business, product, technology, operational teams, related companies, and senior leadership to align priorities and move decisions forward.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective governance practices and lead complex strategic or organizational changes through planning, implementation, and adoption.
  • Experience managing enterprise portfolios, including prioritization, dependencies, sequencing, risks, milestones, and changes across multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency with portfolio management, strategic planning, or work management tools used to track priorities, progress, dependencies, risks, and decision points.
  • Ability to develop clear, well-structured strategy documents, presentations, business cases, and decision materials.
  • Consulting or advisory experience that demonstrates structured problem solving, strategic analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and the ability to turn complex business questions into clear recommendations and actionable plans is a plus.
