Senior Manager (Solution Architect) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to plan, coordinate, and oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions from requirements analysis through deployment into live production environments. Drive the solution development and documentation of solution designs ensuring good architectural practices are observed through the lifecycle of the solution development. Responsible for managing solution design activities, evaluating technical approaches, and resolving architectural issues in collaboration with project, delivery, and engagement management teams to ensure timely and effective system implementation. Review and approve documentation and oversee adherence to architectural principles throughout the solution lifecycle. Provide managerial oversight and direction to teams across all phases of the system lifecycle. Advise internal and external stakeholders on technology options, including public and private cloud solutions, based on business requirements, risk, and operational impact. Serve as the primary point of accountability for solution delivery, stakeholder communication, and alignment of technology solutions with organizational objectives.
Job Specification
Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering(any), Math, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, plus three (3) years of software development, consulting, or business analysis experience in IT field. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Math, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate software development, consulting or business analysis experience in IT field. Must have one (1) year of IT technical work experience using one of the following skill sets:
SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and Azure; OR Pega, Java, and JavaScript.
All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $202,779.00 - $230,790.00.
