Senior Manager, Reporting Standardization and Production

Department: FP&A - Enterprise Performance

Location: On site, Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)

Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)

THE ROLE

As Senior Manager Reporting Standardization and Production, you will play a critical role in industrializing and transforming performance reporting across the enterprise. This position is designed for a detail-oriented and strategic leader who excels at driving reporting standardization, automation, and simplification to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all business units and functions.

Reporting directly to the Director Enterprise Performance, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Data & Analytics (D&A), and Enterprise Planning teams to define enterprise-wide reporting standards, rationalize reporting activities, and ensure high-quality, timely reporting outputs that support effective decision-making at all levels of the organization.

This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader with deep expertise in reporting frameworks, KPI governance, and enterprise data environments, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving continuous process improvements in a complex, matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Reporting Standardization & Governance: Define, implement, and govern standardized KPIs and reporting definitions (e.g., sales, margin, shrink, inventory turns, pricing impact) to ensure consistency and comparability across regions, functions, and business units.
  • Reporting Rationalization & Automation: Review all new reporting requests to assess duplication and prioritize automation opportunities based on value and effort. Lead initiatives to simplify and rationalize reporting processes in partnership with D&A, and Enterprise Planning teams.
  • Reporting Environment Optimization: Determine the most appropriate reporting platforms and environments (Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) vs. Business Intelligence (BI) tools), ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and planning processes, while acting as the FP&A lead in partnership with Longview Admin to define security and governance requirements for data integration into Databricks.
  • Production of Standardized Reporting Packs: Lead the production of standardized executive and retail performance reporting packs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a consistent enterprise narrative that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Data Quality & KPI Integrity: Ensure high data quality, KPI consistency, and accuracy across all recurring and ad-hoc reporting outputs. Establish controls and validation processes to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Business Case Evaluation for Reporting Initiatives: Require and evaluate business cases for new reporting initiatives to assess potential value, automation benefits, and effort reduction, ensuring prioritization aligns with enterprise goals.
  • Reporting Cycle & Stakeholder Management: Manage multiple reporting cycles and deadlines, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high stakeholder satisfaction. Act as a trusted partner to business leaders and finance teams.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with EPM systems, BI platforms, and enterprise data environments.
