Are you a self-driven professional who excels at providing excellent customer service?- Leads a team of Product Sales Managers selling and servicing the Rolls business area.
- Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and other communication within assigned accounts.
- Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements within assigned accounts.
- Overseas and manages the quotation process and supports team in the quotation process and ensure timely follow up with customers.
- Will resolve communication or pipeline delays from key stakeholders internal and external
- Review examine and resolve customer complaints
- Provides market trends and analysis, including competitor activity, lost order tracking, and pricing changes.
- Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
- Manages the territory sales forecast/budget for assigned areas
- Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
- Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch
- Assist in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction survey.
- Abides by Valmet's Manager Role competencies and behaviors for impactful leadership
- Is responsible for tactical and strategic people processes including performance management, succession planning and talent reviews, engagement efforts, development, as well as lead recruiting and onboarding efforts
- Travel is required for this job.
What you'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree, Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry would be an asset
- Basic knowledge of the paper making process, paper machinery, and paper machine rolls
- Proven track record of leadership and ability to drive change and continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others in a positive way
- Good understanding of sales and marketing
- Excellent organizational skills, customer oriented, ability to prepare and make presentations
- Able to travel in the United States and internationally
