Job Description Summary:

ModMed is hiring a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead the strategic sales process and contribute directly to the company's growth strategy. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for cultivating new relationships and executing a strategic sales process within one of our specialties. This is a pure hunter role focused on new customer acquisition, promoting our healthcare IT solutions that streamline clinical workflows, impact financial performance, and enhance patient experience. The ideal candidate understands the unique operational and regulatory challenges faced by specialty practices and thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.

Your Role:
  • Identify, engage, and close net-new business opportunities within the strategic sales segment
  • Build and execute a territory strategy to generate pipeline and accelerate new revenue growth
  • Deliver compelling solution presentations, product demos, and ROI/value discussions to decision makers and influencers
  • Accurately forecast revenue, manage deal cycles, overcome objections, and maintain predictable sales performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales development, solutions engineering, professional services) to advance complex deals to closure.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to differentiate our solutions clearly and effectively
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with prospects by understanding practice workflows, revenue cycle challenges, interoperability needs, and regulatory pressures


Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in complex software sales and a consistent track record of overachievement, preferably in Healthcare IT or enterprise SaaS
  • Proven experience hunting net new accounts in a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycle
  • Exceptional consultative selling, pipeline management & negotiating skills
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare and technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage long and short sales cycles simultaneously
  • Strong presentation skills, both remote and onsite, including conducting demos and executive-level presentations
  • Professional and engaging communication and presentation skills
  • Driven, competitive, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel domestically (estimated at around 30%)
