General position summary:

The Senior Manager, RDQ Learning & Documentation Governance will lead the oversight and coordination of R&D Quality (RDQ) learning governance, documentation governance, and operational readiness activities in partnership across RDQ, with Global Quality Training, Global Documentation, and cross-functional stakeholders.

This role will serve as a central coordinator and governance lead for RDQ learning, documentation, and curriculum management activities, ensuring alignment to evolving regulatory expectations, quality systems, inspection readiness priorities, and organizational transformation initiatives. The individual will drive consistency, oversight, and continuous improvement of the RDQ curricula, such as establishing role based training and partner with stakeholders to develop and enhance role-based learning strategies that support capability development, operational effectiveness, and inspection readiness. In addition, this role will support harmonization and continuous improvement of RDQ documentation and operational practices to strengthen organizational readiness, operational consistency, and quality culture maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Governance & Curriculum Oversight
  • Establish and maintain governance processes for RDQ curricula across GxP domains (e.g., GCP, GVP, GLP)
  • Partner with Global Quality Training to ensure effective management of role-based curricula, learning pathways and associated training assignments
  • Evaluate existing RDQ curricula to identify gaps, redundancies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for optimization
  • Partner with SMEs and functional stakeholders to enhance curricula based on evolving business processes, regulatory expectations, and organizational priorities
  • Coordinate curriculum review cycles, change management activities, and periodic effectiveness assessments
  • Drive consistency and standardization across RDQ curriculum management practices

Documentation Governance & Operational Alignment
  • Represent RDQ within cross-functional documentation and training governance forums, including the Documentation & Training Process Owner Network (PON)
  • Partner with Global Documentation and RDQ stakeholders to support harmonization and continuous improvement of SOP and Work Instruction governance practices
  • Support development of standardized approaches for procedural documentation and associated training alignment
  • Assess RDQ documentation and training impacts associated with process, governance, or regulatory changes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and harmonize documentation and training practices across RDQ

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong background in Quality Assurance, Compliance, and/or Quality Governance in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Systems, GxP operations, compliance, inspection readiness, training governance, documentation management, or organizational capability development
  • Strong understanding of GxP training and documentation requirements and quality system governance
  • Experience working cross-functionally in complex matrix organizations
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and organizational change


Pay Range:
$137,800 - $206,800

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
