Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Project Controls leads all project controls functions for EPC projects, including planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, risk management, change management, and reporting. This role supports project delivery by ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, contractual requirements, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site-based project controls activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and monitor critical milestones. - Oversee cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage progress measurement, performance reporting, and earned value analysis.
- Administer project change management and assess schedule and cost impacts.
- Identify project risks and support mitigation and recovery planning.
- Prepare and present project performance reports to management and clients.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project controls personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Project Controls experience within the EPC industry.
- Leadership experience managing project controls teams.
- Experience supporting large capital projects in energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
Skills & Competencies- Advanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and project controls systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of EPC project execution, contracts, risk management, and change control.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based project environment.
