Job Description:

What is the opportunity?

As a Professional Services Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of accomplished and bright architects and senior consultants who deliver Omnissa technology to our customers. In Professional Services Leadership, you are also responsible for managing the sales pipeline, project staffing, team utilization, revenue and overall delivery quality for professional services. Our principles are People Leadership, Sales Partnership, Metrics-Driven Strategy, and Delivery Excellence. Here is a breakdown:

What You'll Do
  • Team Leadership: talent development, goal setting, utilization management, and creating and maintaining a collaborative, and ever-evolving culture that Omnissa Professional Services is known for.
  • Sales Focus: Although Professional Services is not compensated by sales commission, it's our responsibility to nurture and manage a solid backlog of contracted projects. We do this by constantly evolving our Go-To-Market Strategy, partnering very closely with our Sales counterparts, and helping engage customers to enable sales of Professional Services. Strong customer-facing skills are strongly required for this role. Previous experience delivering Omnissa products (or similar) is a plus.
  • Contracts and quotes: In this role, you will be in charge of elaborating the quotes and Statements of Work based on our internal templates, as well as leading the scoping conversations with the help of your team members.
  • During your first month, you will work with several peers and your manager to gain insight and experience about how the business runs, our tools, metrics, and priorities. Your manager will help you gain access to other important internal stakeholders to help you establish your network of contacts across different Omnissa business units to make you successful as a Professional Services Leader.
  • Within your first three months, you will be expected to have a good grasp of the business operations and start to make an impact on the professional development of your team members, as well as increasing the impact of our services on our customers through quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Starting on your fourth month, you will take full ownership of business outcomes, continue to develop your own leadership skills, and continuously expand your sphere of influence across Omnissa.

What You"ll bring
  • Leadership is about people and how to make them better and more accomplished than they are today. Our people are our number one priority. Omnissa consultants and architects are among the top talent in the field, and they produce a great deal of innovation and customer success. Enabling and guiding them with a leadership style that is flexible, pro-active, and innovative is the best way to keep your team engaged and fulfilled.
  • You will need to understand and be conversant in the technology Omnissa delivers at a level deep enough to be able to recognize how our solutions fit customers' business and technical needs. A passion for technology and solving problems is essential to succeed in this role.
  • You will participate in revenue and sales forecasting, identify trends and opportunities to increase Services sales on the Segment/Vertical you are assigned to lead, and work together with sales teams to ensure that a proper services' offering is attached to product sales. Influencing sales is a big part of your job.
  • You will periodically report the state of your business segment and its operations to senior leadership, as well as manage the success of your projects, which can vary between 40 and 60 at any given time. When projects are off-track, you will partner with project managers, consultants, and customer leadership to formulate plans to bring projects back to a healthy state.
  • You will gather information from the field teams, aggregate data, and provide senior leadership with insights that will help improve the overall efficiency of Professional Services as well as our service offerings. We operate under the constraints we have as a function, and we keep innovating in order to meet our goals.
  • Technology Stack: Our tools include Agiloft for contract management, Atlassian's suite of products for product and knowledge management, Oracle for time entry and project financials management, Salesforce for sales pipeline and opportunity management, and Slack + Zoom for meetings and collaboration. Experience with this stack is not required and familiarity with the tools will mainly accelerate your onboarding.

Location: Remote-USA Or Hybrid (Hybrid only if candidates live close to Atlanta or Mountain View offices)
Travel Expectations: None
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $175,000 - $200,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors. In addition to competitive compensation, Omnissa offers a variety of benefits such as employee ownership, health insurance, 401k with matching contributions, disability insurance, paid-time off, growth opportunities, and more.
