Senior Manager, Primary Immunodeficiency (PI)/Neuromuscular Consumer Marketing

Join Takeda as a Senior Manager, Primary Immunodeficiency (PI)/Neuromuscular Consumer Marketing out of our Cambridge, MA office. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the patient experience and drive meaningful engagement across the PI/CIDP rare disease patient journey. You will be responsible for developing, executing, measuring and optimizing patient-facing initiatives across the direct-to-consumer ecosystem, ensuring every touchpoint advances strategic brand objectives and delivers value to patients and caregivers.

You will also be responsible for successfully building upon the company's reputation and credibility within the PI/CIDP communities, establishing strong relationships with patient advocacy groups and collaborating with field teams to support physician and patient engagement activities.

How you will contribute:
  • Support the development and execution of patient-centric marketing campaigns that are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Lead the creation of promotional tactics and materials, including development of creative briefs and oversight of agency execution.
  • Navigate promotional assets through the medical, legal and regulatory review and approval process.
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics to translate patient insights, market research, and performance data into actionable marketing recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with agency partners, holding them accountable to Takeda USBU policies, standards, timelines and budgets.
  • Lead key workstreams emerging from the annual Brand Planning process from ideation to execution, including measurement and evaluation of performance.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with patient advocacy organizations to strengthen community engagement and support the successful execution of patient advocacy initiatives and events.
  • Ensure all resources and initiatives are aligned with Takeda Compliance, Legal and Regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Sales, Omnichannel, Patient Services, Medical, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, Business Insights and Competitive Intelligence and Communications.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with financial guidance and timelines.
  • Contribute to primary market research initiatives, including study design, discussion guide reviews, fieldwork observation, and insight synthesis to inform business decisions.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's or MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years in sales, marketing, or related commercial function in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry required
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to clearly and succinctly communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies
  • Proven ability to leverage data, analytics, and market insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Must take accountability for individual work with ability to influence others without authority
  • Collaborative team player that is readily willing to help other team members in a fast-paced environment

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$137,000.00 - $215,270.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
