Your OpportunityWe are looking for a
Senior Marketing Manager to lead Assurance and Business Services & Outsourcing (BSO) marketing for BDO Canada.
This national leadership role will drive growth and market visibility for all Assurance and BSO service lines. The successful candidate will have a strong bias to action, be a strategic thinker and effective collaborator who can influence senior stakeholders, manage a team, and bring Assurance and BSO marketing. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Lead the marketing strategy for BDO Canada's Assurance and BSO service line nationally, aligning with firm-wide priorities.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with Assurance and BSO leadership, proactively identifying opportunities to support business objectives through integrated marketing efforts.
- Develop, oversee, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to reach key client segments, enhance brand awareness, and drive pipeline growth.
- Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data to inform and continuously refine marketing strategies and tactics.
- Partner with internal teams and the Marketing Centres of Excellence (COEs) to activate national programs, events, digital content, thought leadership, and communications.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to BDO brand and messaging standards, building and protecting the firm's reputation in the market.
- Oversee budget and resource planning, ensuring efficiency and impact across campaigns.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketers, supporting performance, development, and collaboration across business units.
- Champion operational excellence, including streamlined processes, marketing technologies, and agile planning frameworks.
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work culture that encourages innovation and strategic thinking.

Education & Experience
- University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of B2B marketing experience, including several at a manager or senior manager level.
- Experience in professional services with a national firm is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute national marketing strategies with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, and brand positioning in a complex business environment.
- Proven ability to analyze data and insights to shape effective marketing approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident working with executive-level audiences.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive cross-functional alignment.
The expected range of compensation for this role is $126,000-$176,000 annually.
Flexibility: All BDO personnel are expected to spend some of their time working in the office, at the client site, and virtually unless accommodations or alternative work arrangements are in place.
